      The theme of the 21st Knowledge Exchange Conference (KEC21) is “Advancing Digital Transformation Centers for the AI Era.” This theme aligns with the fourth milestone of PhilCeCNet’s Digital Inclusion and Transformation for All Roadmap 2023-2028 - particularly “Evaluate and Enhance.”

      The Digital Transformation Center is a variant of the Community eCenters in the Philippines. It can be a center managed by the Department of Information Communication and Technology (DICT), Local Government Units (LGU), the DA - Agricultural Training Institutes (DA-ATI), the Public Libraries, the State University and Colleges (SUCs), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Negosyo Centers, the Department of Education (DepEd) Schools, and various private sectors.

      KEC21 is organized by the Philippine Community eCenter Network (PhilCeCNet), co-organized by the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), and is supported by various Partners from the public and private sectors. Together, we aim to strengthen the country’s digital inclusion agenda by bringing together committed stakeholders and advancing the impact of Community eCenters nationwide.

      This year’s KEC focuses on:

      1. Advancing Community eCenters with knowledge relevant to their operations;

      2. Sharing best practices among eCenter operators; and

      3. Providing the latest updates on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in promoting Government Services and Citizen Empowerment.
